What IS IT?

Cellulite is the accumulation of fatty deposits usually found on the gluteal (buttocks) area, thighsand upper arms. Cellulite commonly has a dimpled appearance on the surface of the skin. Extreme celluliteis cold to the touch since there is less blood circulation in the area because the enlarged fat cells(adipocytes) restrict the blood flow. There are various factors that contribute to the appearance of cellulite including a sedentary lifestyle, the hormone oestrogenand periods of weight gain.

Cellulite also has two different types; soft cellulite and hard cellulite. Soft Cellulite is more noticeable because it is not attached to muscle. Soft cellulite is saggy and moves around more than the harder type. It also sits closer to the surface and usually affects larger areas of the body, making it easier to treat.

Hard cellulite is more concentrated and lives close to or on the muscle making it harder to get rid of. Hard cellulite affects athletic body types and is not as visible as soft cellulite. Hard cellulite can be sensitive to the touch because of its proximity to muscle.

INSTORE TREATMENTS

Non-Surgical Skin Tightening

This is a radio frequency treatment which will help to reduce the appearance of cellulite by stimulating your skin in the treated area to produce more collagen, which will tighten the skin.

This is a non-invasive treatment so there will be no downtime and it is pain-free. This treatment can be done every 2 weeks, for best results we recommend a course of 8-10 sessions. Results can be seen after the first treatment and will continue to improve, even up to 6 months after your treatments.
