Tattoo removal is achieved using a laser which breaks down the ink under the skin. This treatment may require a few sessions to be successful and does have a few side effects. These side effects includemild burning, reddening, temporary bruising or blistering. A lightening of the skin (known as hypopigmentation) or darkening of the skin (known as hyperpigmentation) or may occur. These symptomsusually resolve themselves in 1-2 weeks, but the damage can take up to 3-6 months to heal.

Colourand/or textual changes in the skin, like loss of freckles or pigmented lesions, can occur and can be permanent. Laser treatment of flesh or white coloured tattoos may cause a dark brown/black colour change. Although there are side effects, most of which are only temporary, laser treatment is the best option to permanently remove tattoos.

How the tattoo removals work?

The white blood cells in your system that protects your body from infectious diseases and foreign invaders attack the pigment in the tattoo over time.

How the ND YAG 002 machines work?

The NdYag LG002 machine, produces a high energy beam of light that precisely transfers energy into the skin, this very short pulse cracks (smashes) the tattoo pigment particles. Your body’s own white blood cells absorb the ink and carry it away out of the body.

Fading of the tattoo depends on:

•What type of ink the tattoo artist used?
•How deep the ink is in the skin.
•How healthy you are, how well your body gets rid of the ink
•Coloration, (Red, blue, green takes time )
All tattoos are different from each other that are why every tattoo will remove definitely.

Can you get scarring from tattoo removal?

Scaring is possible, as when you received the tattoo, the ink particles can damage some of the Keratin, Collagen and Elastin in the skin. There are excellent after-care treatments, like RegimA Scar Repair to help with the scarring, and also Carboxy therapy (Please ask you therapist for more information).

Sessions include:

1 Session every 4-6 weeks.
Need plus minus 8- 12 session (Depending on the above conditions).

The possible risks during/after procedure include:

The risks during tattoo removal- crusting/scab formation, pain, purpura (bleeding underneath the skin), swelling, redness, bruising, blistering, ingrown hairs, infection (if you do not follow proper after care) and scaring (with the consent of this form, if the settings are too high, because the client wants quicker results. Not all clients are the same and the risks may differ.
1.Infection: The laser treatment may create a superficial burn wound. There is immediate whitening of the treated area, which lasts for several minutes. Most patients can develop blisters, crusts or scabs within 24-72 hours, which may last for 1-2 weeks. Some patients may experience bruising or swelling. Do not pick at the scab or allow the skin to become abraded, as this may result in infection and scarring. If the area looks infected (thick honey colored crust and oozing, or spreading redness). Please consult with your health care doctor.
2.Bleeding: Pinpoint bleeding is rare but can occur.
3.Allergic Reactions: There have been reports of hypersensitivity to the various tattoo pigments during the tattoo removal process. Noted in some patients are superficial erosions, bruising, blistering, redness and swelling.

Short term effects:

It may include reddening, mild burning, temporary bruising or blistering. A brownish/red darkening of the skin (known as hyperpigmentation) or lightening of the skin (known as hypopigmentation) may occur. This usually resolves in weeks, but it can take up to 3-6 months to heal. Permanent color change is a rare risk. Loss of freckles or pigmented lesions can occur.
Textual and/or color changes in the skin can occur and can be permanent. I understand that this procedure fails to remove all pigment in some cases, especially with professional applied tattoos, and may not be effective on certain pigments. Laser treatment of white or flesh colored tattoos can cause dark brown/black color change. Multiple treatments are generally required.

The next six weeks after the treatment?

Improvement may not be seen in the tattoo or lesion for up to six weeks. Laser treatments can be repeated at 4 to 6 week intervals. Continued improvement can occur for several months after treatment. The treatment is very successful if you do the right aftercare and follow the aftercare.

Is tattoo removal safe for all skin types?

Yes, tattoo removal is safe to use on all skin types, in our professional opinion, experience and knowledge.
